Does the perfect time even exist?
May 27, 2025
Maybe that’s what life is all about. Maybe it isn’t about the perfect time. Maybe it’s about being so fully aware in the present moment that this is the perfect moment.
I realised the power of now even more when I felt that my time in Bali is slowly coming to an end. Things that annoyed me, like the dust from the streets flying into my face or the slower-paced lifestyle, started to make me happy again. Knowing that I’ll leave Bali reminded me that time is limited. And not only the time we have when we are traveling, time in general.
Every single moment we have in our life will simply become a memory. The hug with your loved one, the deep talk with your friend, the kiss with your partner. Everything is limited.
And yes, this can create pressure. At least that’s what I feel sometimes when I realise that I will not have time forever to spend with my loved ones on this planet Earth. But it also creates something else. It allows me to dive deep into the moment. With creating awareness for it, I allow myself to fully feel and open my heart for everything that comes. Is it scary sometimes? Yes, of course. But what kind of life is that if you don’t give yourself the chance to experience what you could feel when you allow yourself to fully surrender to the now? Because in the end, that’s all we have.
